Press tributes:
"I found the correspondence quite fascinating … it explains the thinking and motivation that enabled this delightful man to produce more than 60 books, numerous paintings and scraperboards and a steady outflow of articles."
Turnstone The Shooting Times
"Beautifully produced by Roseworld Productions. A great book to read laid out on the carpet in front of a roaring fire with a dog asleep next to you. Far more entertaining and meaningful than the crap they serve up on the telly nowadays!"
Ken Clifford Coarse Angling Today
"Renowned as one of Britain’s finest wildlife and countryside writers with more than 60 books to his name, BB’s letters highlight his day-to-day life and creative inspiration." Jacquie Pryce Northampton Chronicle & Echo |
